    Women's Basketball, Softball, Golf
Though she was a multi-sport athlete in high school, and played two seasons of Golf and a season of Basketball at Beloit, Softball was the sport of choice for Adrienne Davis.  She enjoyed the challenge between the pitcher and hitter offensively and the ability to control the game as a catcher defensively.  Buccaneer Softball is certainly glad she chose that path.  A four-time All-MWC selection as a catcher/first baseman, and the Conference’s Player of the Year as a senior, Davis finished her four seasons with a .376 career batting average, still the second-highest all time.  A two-year captain, at the end of her career she ranked in the top three in 13 categories across single-game, season and career.  After graduation she remained at Beloit to serve as an assistant Softball coach for one season before taking the head coaching job at Oberlin College in 2006 and staying there thru 2011.  She has been the Client Services Coordinator at Panther Life Science Logistics since 2011.
