Beginning her basketball career in fifth grade with her father as coach, Lynn Holleran continued her pattern as successful athlete and student during her four years at Beloit.  A three sport letter winner in soccer, basketball and softball, she was the winner of both the Donald “Red” Janssen Award as a junior and the Ruth C. Peterson Award as a senior, recognizing her as an outstanding and versatile student-athlete.  While most of her awards were won in basketball and softball, Lynn was also named to the 1985 All-State Wisconsin Women’s Soccer team in only her second year on the team.  On the court, she was a four-year starter and three-year captain of the team.  She led Beloit in steals, averaged 10 points and 7 assists per game, was named 2nd team All-Conference in 1984 and 1985 and made 1st team All-Conference in 1986.  Lynn was 4 times named All Midwest Conference softball centerfielder, hitting .431 and .383, and served as team captain her senior year.  A finalist in the NCAA post-graduate scholarship program, Lynn went on to MBA studies at Northwestern University’s prestigious Kellogg School of Management.  She served as assistant director of academic services in the athletic department at Northwestern for seven years.  She currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Senior Women’s Administrator at Boston College and remains active in competitive basketball and soccer.
