Hall of Honor
Lebedeva’s hope upon entering Beloit College was that she could continue her studies as well as be “beneficial” to the success of the Buccaneer Women’s Tennis team. She succeeded on both counts. By the end of her three-season career she was the winningest player in the program’s history with 159 wins while adding six individual Midwest Conference Championships. She was a three-time All-American and twice finished as the national runner-up in doubles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Small College Championships. Her play helped lead the Bucs to MWC Championships in all three of her seasons. In total she won over 90% of her matches and was undefeated in MWC play. Following graduation with a Bachelors degree in Modern Languages she moved to Sevilla, Spain, to continue studying before returning to Moscow, where her language and organizational skills earned her a position with BENE, a multinational Austrian company. She is currently the Head of the Customer Support Department and a member of the branch Management Team while continuing to live in Moscow.
