Hall of Honor
Ken Kozemzak hit the ground running with determination in his athletic career at Beloit College. The Most Improved player in his first season with the Buccaneer Men’s Basketball team, he then earned All-Conference recognition the next three seasons, including as the team MVP his junior year. As a senior he became the 13th member of the 1,000-point club during the MWC Championship Game and still ranks 18th all-time with 1,009 points. He worked his way into the lineup for the Beloit Baseball team as a sophomore before earning All-Conference honors as a shortstop his junior season and then, moving to the outfield, repeated the selection as a senior. He ended his Baseball, and Beloit, career with a flourish, hitting .356 while leading the team in runs, hits and doubles as a senior. After graduation Kozemzak was a counselor/case manager at a residential treatment center in Minneapolis before moving into sales. He is currently the Regional Sales Manager at Dearborn National in the Twin Cities.
