Athletic, talented, persistent.  Three words that described Stephanie Fruin Johnson as she entered Beloit College.  Those three traits all held up as she went on to be one of the dominant performers in the history of the Buccaneer Women’s Track & Field team.  A four-year letterwinner, Johnson was a four-time All-Midwest Conference performer and the team MVP during her junior season. Usually competing in five to six events in every track meet, she was a four-time champion in the triple jump (two indoor, two outdoor) and won the long jump once. She still holds the Beloit records, both indoor and outdoor, in both the long and triple jumps.  After earning her degree in Psychology, she earned a masters at the University of Illinois.  She is currently a group leader at The Mill in Rockford.
