Dedicated and driven described Eddie Rock from early on.  If there was a roadblock he figured a way around it.  Those traits came in handy on the Buccaneer Soccer field from his midfield position, figuring out how best to give his teammates an opportunity to score.  He made the right decision enough times to record 19 career assists, the third-highest mark in school history.  He also did his own scoring by notching 17 goals and finishing with 53 career points.  His best season came as a senior in 1997, when he led the team in scoring with seven goals and six assists while earning the team MVP award, First Team All-MWC honors, and All-State recognition.  He also became just the third Buccaneer to earn All-Region honors that season.  His drive continued after graduation as he worked with several political campaigns and earned a law degree before co-founding Libero Sports, an international boutique sports business firm specializing in soccer and headquartered in Chicago.
